In 2026, we restated our management philosophy in these three words.

Better

With what is "better" for our customers as our yardstick, we constantly question how we do things now and keep refining everything from our selection and quality to the way we deliver.

Faster

We are building a system that cuts waste and cost from order to delivery, responds to customers faster, and delivers right when it is needed.

Newer

We actively adopt AI and other new technologies, and go beyond conventional business practices and boundaries to expand what a wholesaler can do.

MESSAGE

Message from the President

We deliver ingredients.
And we want to help with what comes after.

We want to support sourcing that satisfies our customers in every respect: selection, quality, delivery, timing and price. We believe Marusho's role is to pursue everything we can do ourselves to make that happen.

The work we have built up over many years is what supports Marusho today. Now that technologies such as AI and robotics are advancing rapidly, I feel the time has come to fundamentally rethink how we do that work.

We are reviewing everything from order intake to sourcing, sorting and delivery, and cutting unnecessary work and costs. We will put the time and energy this frees up into quality checks and serving our customers. Drawing on our strengths in sourcing, logistics and processing, we will also step into new services and businesses.

I also want to keep asking myself whether the decisions we make now are the best ones. We put our ideas into action, check the results, and review them again. By building on that, we will become a company you can proudly trust with your sourcing.
