1951Opened the greengrocery 中島青果店 in Uzuhashi (formerly Saiwai-cho), Matsumoto (representative: 中島正二)
1973中島赳 becomes representative
1976Shifted from retail to wholesale
1977Established a dedicated foodservice wholesale division
1979Incorporated
1989Opened a sales office inside the Matsumoto City Public Wholesale Market
1998Established a produce processing division (pre-cut vegetables)
2000Reorganized from a limited company (yugen kaisha) into a stock company (kabushiki kaisha)
2002Established frozen food and livestock product divisions
2009Built a new head office building inside the Matsumoto City Public Wholesale Market and moved head office functions there
2010Established a retail shop division
2013Bejisako Co., Ltd. founded
2014中島康喜 becomes President and Representative Director
2020Streamline Co., Ltd. and Side Dish Co., Ltd. founded, making the Marusho Group a four-company group
